- Our bikers will encounter incredible panorama after incredible panorama: active holidaymakers revel in views of the Dolomites, the Latemar Massif, the Rosengarten Massif, and Schlern Mountain. When the weather conditions are good, the view encompasses Mount Ortler on one side and the Sella Mountains on the other.
- Our favourite tours: mountain bike tours through the many various passes—Nigerpass, Karerpass, Lavazè-Pass and Feudopass—afford shady ascents, trails through lush Alpine pastures, idyllic summit views, and long descents.
Mountain Bike Tours at the Rosengarten Massif
- In summer, we start out from cooler altitudes of 800 metres and higher, from Welschnofen, Deutschnofen, Steinegg, Obereggen and Karersee Lake. While midday temperatures down in Bolzano can officially hit 38° C, the pleasant temperatures up here mean that biking is no problem.
- Forested hillsides and the mountain scenery of the Dolomites, criss-crossed by paths through the forest, offer a wide network of trails for all levels of skill. The partly flat trails at an elevation of more than 1,000 metres are easily manageable, even for inexperienced cyclists. Due to the mild winter and early summer, the season starts here as early as the end of April.
