Kneipp treatments work according to a simple principle. Heat and cold stimuli alternate and stimulate various bodily functions. This can be achieved with alternating showers as well as with a visit to the sauna. So why not make greater use of cold stimuli? The latest trend in the wellness sector is therefore called the "snow sauna", a cold chamber that produces dry snow at minus temperatures.

The South Tyrolean complementary physician Dr. Christian Thuile has developed an ingenious method of making the best possible use of short cold stimuli and subsequent warm-up phases for health and well-being. The dry cold can be used, among other things, for pain in the musculoskeletal system and joints, for sleep disorders, for blood vessel and muscle training and to strengthen the immune system.

SAUNA: Warm-up phase in the sauna. Relax sitting or lying down for approx. 12-15 minutes, depending on your physical condition.


SNOWROOM: While sitting or standing, refresh the lungs by taking deep breaths and rub snow into any aching areas. The duration of stay should be 3-5 minutes.


RELAX: Relax for 15-20 minutes and allow the treatment to take effect before repeating the cycle.
